Or at least, she did.
These days, Debbie’s life seems to be spiraling out of control. She just lost her job. Something strange is happening with her teenage daughters. And her husband is keeping secrets, according to the tracking app she installed on his phone. Now, Debbie’s done being the bigger person.
She’s done being reasonable and practical. It’s time to take her own advice.
And now it’s time for payback against all the people in her life who deserve it the most.
From #1 New York Times and international bestselling author Freida McFadden comes a biting subversive thriller about what happens when women finally choose to take justice into their own hands – with killer results.

A Masterclass in Revenge
Freida McFadden has done it again with Dear Debbie. As a huge fan who has read almost everything she’s written, I can honestly say this is one of her best works yet. I stayed up past midnight just to download it the second it was released, and it was worth every lost hour of sleep. The story flows perfectly and is a very quick, easy read that keeps you hooked from start to finish. What makes this book stand out is how it completely tricks you. While these mysteries aren’t “rocket science,” they are written so well that the twists still catch you off guard. I was totally convinced that Cooper was the villain and that Debbie was simply a woman seeking revenge for his cheating. I never once suspected the truth about who Harley was really seeing or that a dark secret from twenty years ago was about to resurface. The way the author hides the truth in plain sight is brilliant.Compared to her recent releases like The Intruder or The Tenant, Dear Debbie feels much stronger. It is a deeply satisfying revenge story where the main character goes above and beyond for herself and her family. If you love a fast-paced thriller with a plot twist you won’t see coming, this is a must-read. It’s easily one of my favorite books from her so far.

A new Freida McFadden experience
This was literally a new freida mcfadden…This is her latest novel, finished it in a day….Though it is not a fast paced novel, at initial you’ll think that it’s about a happy housewife but with each end you’ll know that she is not a normal housewife…..Though 4 stars because it was other than all Frieda’s books but the end twist… omg 😲 😱Just read it and you’ll know it yourself…

A Twist I Never Saw Coming
Just finished Dear Debbie by Freida McFadden.Finished it in just two days… couldn’t stop turning the pages.Every chapter made me want to know what happens next. The twist at the end was completely unexpected… honestly didn’t see it coming.Loved the way the point of view shifts were handled. If this ever becomes a movie, it would be hard not to spoil the magic. But as a book, it’s a gripping, fast, and highly enjoyable read. 📖🔥

Excellent as Always 😍
As usual, excellent writing that made us feel that we’ve found the twist and give us a big slap with an actual twist which hasn’t even guessed at all.

Wow Wow and Wow.
Being a diehard fan of Freida’s books I was eagerly waiting for Dear Debbie. A brilliant plot, flowing narrative and the themes of revenge, betrayal, jealousy, the extent to which a person can go if they are pushed beyond their limits. In her inimitable style, Freida has yet again shown how everyone has secrets of their own, how little one knows one’s own family and nothing is what it seems to be. If you have not grabbed your copy please do. Strongly recommended and five stars for me.

I finished it in one day because I honestly couldn’t put it down. Watching Debbie go from the voice of reason to someone pushed far beyond her limits is gripping and unsettling in the best way. Twisty, fast-paced, and deeply satisfying — easily one of my favourite Freida McFadden books.

What a page turner! What a revenge story. Love it. Even though in real life I detest self justice. But then again if you see what happens to the victims of the child abuse ring in the US you might understand again. Highly recommend. Start on a day when you have the next day off. And: this time it is not a jump into a too easy happy ending. This time the ending is smart.
